At Ad Sports Tahoe our passion is "community"! AD Sports Tahoe serves the community and surrounding areas of South Lake Tahoe through sports competition, athletic training, track & field meets, basketball and volleyball tournaments, track and field camps, football, softball, combine trainings, speed and power development, and more. As members of the South Lake Tahoe Optimist Club, we are a "Friend of Youth" and make it a priority to provide youth with safe, fun, competitive and athletically challenging programs to promote health and wellness of the body and mind! If you are all grown up, we won't tell anyone. That is why we continue to offer programs for all ages from 2 – 90 years plus. You have nowhere else to go but "up" to South Lake Tahoe 6,250ft., where we work at your higher elevation!! "Quality of Life" in the mountains and on the lake since 1988.

PA-USATF Grand Prix Championship
August 10, 2014 - Sunday
Ages: 5 - 100+
3,000-meter RACE WALK (also the USATF Western Region 3,000-meter Championship) at South Lake Tahoe, California. The elevation (6,272 feet = 1,912 meters) is excellent for training; the weather will be cool (temperature at race time between 55 and 70˚F); and the race will be short and fast.
The race will be on the Community Youth Sports Complex track at South Tahoe Middle School (site of the 1968 Olympic Trials), 2940 Lake Tahoe Boulevard (U.S. Highway 50), South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150 – entrance to the track off A1 Tahoe Boulevard. Map
The race walks are hosted by the Pacific Race-walking Organization (contact: Beth and Jon Price, firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com).
The women's race starts at 9:30 AM, and the men's race will start immediately afterward, at about 10:20 AM.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION ON SITE: 8:45 to 9:15 (women), or until 10:00AM (men)
