Tahoe Legends 10K & 5K Run June 16, 2012, Saturday Lake Tahoe Community College, South Lake Tahoe, CA RACE STARTS At 8:00am in the LTCC parking area. ENTRY FEE: $30 / Students: $15 (age 17 & under). SPECIAL TEAMS EVENT: Entry $100 for teams of 5 -- Team race is a 5 person co-ed team consisting of at least 2 female runners. Team members run the course individually, then all 5 members will run an additional lap around the track to finish together for their official "team time". Final lap may include a fitness course, obstacles, and /or fitness stations. Spooner Summit Maintenance Station near Hwy 50 east to Carson City and Hwy 28 to Incline Village. Finish at Rim Trail parking lot off Kingsbury Grade/SR 207 turn left on North Benjamin to the end of road. For those looking for a good challenge that's not an ultra marathon. This is a 9.5-mile trek across the mountain tops from Spooner Summit to Kingsbury. The fire access road starts at Spooner Summit and climbs nearly 2,000 feet in the first 41/2 miles to its summit near Genoa Peak. The route is no easy chore, to be certain, but the view makes it worthwhile. Tahoe Firecracker Trail Trek July 4, 2012 - 8:00am - 5K Run/Walk & Kid's Race Incline Middle School, 931 Southwood Blvd., Incline Village, NV 89451 Join us for the second annual Tahoe Firecracker Trail Trek, to benefit the Incline High School Boys and Girls Cross Country team. The Race is part of the Red White and Tahoe Blue activities. With separate races for kids and adults, this event is perfect for the entire family. Races start and finish at the Incline Middle School basketball courts.
